RE: Natchez Trace parkway

We traveled it last year. We would stay in a campground and use the toad to travel the trace so we could stop at all the stops. If you go, be sure to go the the car museum in Tupelo. Great museum. I have photos of the Trace on my blog and webshots. You can travel in your rv very easlily.

RE: Retiring in 13 years, getting ready now...looking for advice

When we decided we were going to fulltime, we would make sure our birthday, xmas, gifts to each other, were things that would fit in the motorhome or be usefull to someone living in a motorhome.

RE: 50 Amp Power Analyzer

We use a power pal to check out the electric at the post. It is expensive, but has saved us from plugging into poor electric posts. You can check it out at http://www.got50amps.com/http://www.got50amps.com/. We do not sell this item. I like the fact that it talks to us. We have even gotten owners/managers of campgrounds out to the electric post to check out their power. At one campground, we had to plug into 4 different sites before we got the "Power is acceptable." Can't count the times we got the sound "Faulty ground or neutral detected. Do not plug in. Obtain the services of a qualified electrician"

RE: Winegard Automatic Satellite

We had same problem. Apparently the circuit board went out and we were informed by a tv repair person that Winnegard no longer makes them. What we did to get the signal was to set the receiver on the satellite signal page and when the winnegard found the signal, we pushed stop. We finally solved the problem by putting a BOW on our Datastorm, so when we find the internet sat., we also find directv.
